Driving Directions

From the north take the M20 and leave at exit 4 sign posted A228 or from the west on the M25 take the M26 and take exit 2a sign posted A228. Follow the A228 for Paddock Wood onto Seven Mile Lane and at the second roundabout turn left onto the B2015 and then first right sign posted Yalding onto the B2162. Follow this road over the River Medway on a narrow bridge controlled by traffic lights and the entrance to the car park is on the left after 1.4 miles.

From Tunbridge Wells, the A21 and the south follow the A228 and at the fourth roundabout turn right onto the B2015 and then first right sign posted Yalding onto the B2162. Follow this road over the River Medway on a narrow bridge controlled by traffic lights and the entrance to the car park is on the left after 1.4 miles.

From Maidstone and the east take the A26 through to the traffic lights at Wateringbury and turn left onto the B2015 and then turn left sign posted Yalding onto the B2162 after 2.2 miles. Follow this road over the River Medway on a narrow bridge controlled by traffic lights and the entrance to the car park is on the left after 1.4 miles.

What are the camping facilities?

Camping

The main campsite is a tented campsite set it stunning surroundings by the River Medway with access to toilets and water. To camp on the campsite you will need to purchase the additional camping ticket as well as an entry ticket for each person camping.

Campervans & Caravans
If you would like to bring your campervan (caravans & trailer tents permitted), you will need to purchase a ‘Campervan Permit’ when you purchase your tickets. A ‘Campervan Permit’ allows you a pitch of 6m x 7.5m in which you will be able to park your campervan, caravan or trailer tent, and put up an awning and/or pitch a small 2 man tent if required. VEHICLES OVER 7.5m IN LENGTH ARE ONLY PERMITTED BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE VICAR’S PICNIC OFFICE ONLY.

To camp in your campervan or caravan you will need to purchase the additional camping ticket as well as an entry ticket for each person camping.

As well as camping in a beautiful setting, by booking into the Glamping area you also have exclusive use of upmarket toilets.
